We need to change our ways – for the sake of the planet and every organism that inhabits it. Zonderzooi’s Dalí recognizes this urgency and raises awareness as part of her life’s work. She focuses on easy-to-apply nutritional solutions to a large-scale issue. On the 4th of October, World Animal Day re-emphasized the status of animals, and Dutch foundation Wakker Dier introduced ‘Eet Geen Dierendag’ (Don’t Eat Animals Day). The essence of the campaign was to encourage people to occasionally skip eating meat and promote an array of alternatives that you can fill your plate with. Dalí joined in the mission and employed her kitchen as a powerful tool for change.

With her salsa and kidney beans on a wrap and a beautifully layered veggie burger with pickles, she surely nailed both features.
